Jordan Dumars
PARTNER
Jordan is a former professional athlete and sports business veteran with a diverse range of experiences: a successful basketball playing career at the University of Michigan and in Europe; founder & CEO of Vybhouse—a global content creation and production company; a talent business manager working with NBA, NFL, & MLB players; and a consultant to the top international sports agencies. Jordan is an active investor in the sports science and biotech industries with multiple holdings in both and brings an extensive network of partners and collaborators across the sports, entertainment, technology, and finance sectors.
Joe Greco
PARTNER
Joe is an accomplished serial entrepreneur and investor. He founded, built, and exited multiple businesses that attracted Private Equity investors (Summit Partners, Roark Capital, CIP Capital, & GTCR), including PSC Info Group and RevSpring. He founded and is Chairman of Experity Ventures, a ˜$400MM alternative asset investment fund. Joe is the Managing Director of Ascend Ventures, his private investment arm and family office platform, and has successfully invested across the entire portfolio of sports business, including teams, media, merchandise, technology & licensing. He is a 9-year co-owner of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union, widely recognized as one of the best managed professional soccer teams in North America.
Nick Sprague

Nick is a leader with unique knowledge of sports business and global soccer. He worked nearly 20 years in the Americas ecosystem as a general counsel in a large multinational group (NYSE: BAK) and as an entrepreneur. Nick has an extensive background in project finance, M&A, compliance, and cross-border transactions. Nick was on the leadership team that launched and ran Inter Miami and has been advising MLS team owners for almost a decade. He has led sports M&A diligence projects in the US, Europe & Latin America, and contains deep knowledge of the broader sports ecosystem, having been an early-stage investor and executive leading the global growth of Orreco—recognized by Sports Business Journal in 2023 as the world’s best sports performance technology company.
Jonathan Xing

Jonathan is a thought leader in Asian Pacific sport and outbound investment from the region. A graduate of USC Marshall School of Business with an MBA from the University of Chicago, Jonathan is the founder of Fro.G International, a sports marketing agency providing Asian commercial opportunities for US teams and athletes. Fro.G has brokered 7-figure commercial opportunities for a client base that includes Klay Thompson & Ben Wallace. Jonathan serves on the advisory board of the Chinese Basketball Association’s Sichuan Blue Whales. Through his family business, Jonathan has worked with the world’s leading brands on importing to the Chinese market and maintains a unique network among Asian investors and corporate leaders.

Scott is a private equity, financial services & entertainment thought leader. He is the Founder & Managing Partner at CIP Capital/Mariners Gate Partners–PE funds that have invested more than $1B in capital in 16 platform investments and 70+ add-on acquisitions since 2010. Prior to CIP, Scott led the investment activities in the Information, Media and Services sectors at Credit Suisse, and served as President of McGraw Hill’s Information & Media Segment, CEO of Philips Info & Services, and President/COO of Marvel Entertainment.

Orson is a global leader in sports, communications, media, public policy, and corporate affairs. Orson served for 12 years as Nike’s U.S. Director of Government and Public Affairs, leading Nike’s policy strategy on international trade, brand campaigns, corporate responsibility, supply chain sourcing, and crisis management. Prior to Nike, Orson served as Special Assistant to US President William J. Clinton. In 2011, Orson founded and currently serves as lead principal for a global strategy firm, where he advises CEOs and other corporate leaders on policy and business priorities.

Payvand served as in-house counsel to the Qatar 2022 World Cup for 10 years, responsible for all aspects of tournament planning & delivery. Payvand has brokered and executed significant sports sponsorship and team transactions in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and currently advises global clients as a member of the Sports Practice at White & Case.

Pablo is an expert in Latin American capital and sport. Originally from Uruguay, Pablo is a Managing Director for Jefferies Private Wealth Management based in Miami, focused on high-net-worth individuals, family offices, & asset managers in Latin America—including numerous stakeholders in sport. Prior to Jefferies, Pablo served as a Managing Director of Wells Fargo Advisors for 15 years and was named by Wall Street Magazine as Top 40 under 40.
